Campaign Lore

A sovereign state formerly known as Traladara which has been ruled by Duke Stefan Karameikos III for 30 years as Grand Duke by appointment from Emperor of Thyatis.

Population primarily consists of Traladarans and Thyatians, as well as a growing blend of the two. Karameikos is also home to Callarii elves, gnomes (mostly from the community of Highforge), Dwarves and Halflings.

The southern reaches of Karameikos are a coastline on The Sea of Dread. To the North are mountain ranges that create a border with the Republic of Darokin.

The interior of Karameikos is considered cursed and adventurers who have a proven track record can receive permission from the Duke to claim ownership and clear it of any monsters or other agents of chaos that threaten the Grand Duchy.
