They pick the shorter route through the mountains and [[Mira]] is able to pick up on the secret markings of the bandit's trail. They arrive at the camp and don't see any signs of Beef or the abductors. [[Stilton Hovel]] reasons that those bandits must have taken the longer route which would force them to travel north to reach the camp. The party traveled a bit further south and found [[Eloquent Ellie]], [[Nyx Lastname]] and [[Jilly Lank]] with a cart pulled by a small horse or donkey which is pulling beef who has his hands bound.

* a laboratory with stuffed animals (taxidermy), shelves of books and scrolls, jars of powder herbs, symbols painted on the walls, and an iron statue (which moves on its own volition)
* a bedroom with a kitten familiar of a [[Mirabalis]] who can also transform into a panther.
* Meet Candella and Duchess who are two adventurers that the party find suspicious.
* The party combats a doppelganger disguised as Mirabalis.

Summary

Party 3

Party 3 explores the second story of the palace. They encountered:

  • An illusion of swords floating in the air and fighting each other
  • a laboratory with stuffed animals (taxidermy), shelves of books and scrolls, jars of powder herbs, symbols painted on the walls, and an iron statue (which moves on its own volition)
  • a bedroom with a kitten familiar of a Mirabalis who can also transform into a panther.
  • Meet Candella and Duchess who are two adventurers that the party find suspicious.
  • The party combats a doppelganger disguised as Mirabalis.
