Her friends call her Ells (short for "El El" which is short for Eloquent Ellie), but many in the gang can't pronounce a strong "El" sound so to others it sounds as if her companions are calling her "Ewws".
Ellie fell in combat during the rescue of Beef the Meaty by Adventuring Party 2. She succumbed to a sleep spell by Beatrix Knibbs and then the blade of Mira. Her Eloquent Ellie's Journal journal was stolen shortly after.
