Campaign Lore
Located in the mountainous region in the north eastern part of the Grand Duchy of Karameikos. It is positioned on the southern end of the Altan Tepes mountains near the marshes which form the source of the Castallan River. The river is the fastest way due south into Karameikos either for caravans with legitimate traders or invading armies. The keep is tasked with monitoring the comings and goings of people traveling between the borders Karameikos, Yllarum, Thyatis and Darokin. It is also the first line of defense for invasion through the Altan Teppes by it’s neighbors, warlords or hordes of monsters.
